playgroundThe Ronald McDonald House of Dallas provides temporary lodging and other supportive services for seriously ill or injured children, who are being treated at a Dallas area hospital, and their immediate family. Services include:

Private Bedrooms — Up to 5 people may stay in a room in the House. Most bedrooms have 2 single beds and additional mats/cots/cribs are available as needed. Wheel-chair accessible rooms are also available.

Three Meals Daily — Generous community groups provide meals that are served in the dining room. Residents may prepare their own food in the house or may choose from our well-stocked pantry.

Transportation — Volunteers and staff provide scheduled transportation for resident families to hospitals in the immediate area. This must be scheduled at the front desk.

Laundry Facility — Residents may take advantage of a laundry room located in the House.

Activities for Patients and Siblings — In addition to inside and outside play areas, children may participate in crafts, games, movie nights, visits from zoo animals, therapy dogs, birthday parties and seasonal celebrations organized by the volunteers at the House.

programs

Family Assistance Fund — This fund can provide financial aid to the neediest resident families for medical equipment and supplies and other needs as identified.
